Ed Ewens was the five goal star when fourth placed Ferndown Sports completed their campaign with a 5-1 triumph over Merley Cobham Sports in the HAYWARD SATURDAY PREMIER DIVISION. Charlie Field and James Morris were the other Ferndown marksmen with Luke Phillips scoring Merley’s consolation goal.

Struggling Christchurch crashed 8-1 to goals from Dan Baguley (2), Joe Kittle (2), Steve Blyth, Kev Brennan, James Crow, and Steve Liddell against runners up Hamworthy Recreation at Magna Road on Wednesday night.

The Priory boys then recovered their composure when they just got the better of Parley Sports 5-4 thanks to Christian Napolitano’s hat-trick and further goals from William Ohamaje and Ibrahim Mohamed. Ben Mowlam (2), Adam James, and Kieran Burnett were the Parley marksmen.

Unbeaten DIVISION ONE leaders Alderholt clinched the title with two games still to play when Alex O’Neill and Nathan Welch earned them a 2-2 draw in the top of the table clash with Allendale who finish in the runners up spot. Jospeph Cherrett and George Knijff were the Allendale marksmen.
