A large crowd saw Bournemouth Electric take a first half lead through Dan Baguley but Wallisdown Liberal just got the better of them 2-1 in an excellent M.A.HART ROBBINS CUP quarter final thanks to Marc Scrimshaw and John Bastable.
HAYWARD SUNDAY LEAGUE ROUND UP - SUN 11th APRIL 2010.
Wallisdown Liberal took over on top of the HAYWARD SUNDAY PREMIER LEAGUE on goal difference following their 1-1 midweek draw with championship rivals Bournemouth Sports who join Wallisdown on 30 points after Dan Tong, Mark Gunter, and Mark Rourke gave them a 3-1 victory over reigning champions East Christchurch SSC. Wayne Etherton scored for Christchurch who completed their campaign on 30 points, behind the leading pair on goal difference.
At the other end of the table, Jamie Chilcott and Elliot Boylan netted for Foresters Arms but they remain anchored to the bottom after Spire Broadway sank them 5-2 through Tom Flynn, Sean McCoy, and a Max Frampton hat-trick.
Dan Manuel's double strike proved decisive when Branksome Railway shaded it 3-2 against Berrans Park Avenue who are only two points ahead of the Foresters.
TX United have a three point lead at the top of DIVISION ONE after Luke Homer (2), Shane Walton, Steve Talliss, and Ben Cooper ensured a 5-1 victory over Kavell whose consolation goal came from Gareth Cadd.
Promotion rivals New Milton Town were also 5-1 winners when they polished off Darby's Corner through Ross Grierson, an own goal, and a Matt Molloy hat-trick. Shaun Parker was the Darby's Corner goalscorer.
Kinson Conservative's unbeaten record was ruined in a shock 2-1 defeat against Cranleigh on Thursday night but they bounced back with a 3-1 success against Vienna Windows thanks to first half goals from Adam Watson, Sean Gallagher, and Matty Grimason. Stuart Marshall pulled one back for Vienna in the second half.
Ben Giles netted for Cranleigh but Parley Sports had the edge 2-1 thanks to Rich Hamshere and Martin Thompson.
Redhill led 4-2 through Steve Bristow (2), Mike Edwards, and Craig Miles, but bottom placed Bournemouth Electric Reserves salvaged a 4-4 draw thanks to Sam Adams (2), Robert Stephen, and Dave Weeden.
DIVISION TWO promotion rivals New Star United and Bournemouth Athletic battled out a 3-3 draw with Mark Walker (2) and Mark Dykes scoring for United and Athletic replying through Jamie Hales, Sean Dunning, and Shaun Brazier.
Christchurch Royals preserved their unbeaten record with ease, crushing Littledown 11-0 with a Kevin Brennan hat-trick and further goals from Chris Forbes (2), Dan Brennan (2), Matt Kearley, Mark Hepple, Dale Simpson, and Dan Seymour.
Daniel Wills, Dan Frisby, Luke Phillips, and Jordan Harris were the Branksome Celtic marksmen in their 4-0 victory over Magdon Scaffolding while M.A.Hart In-Excess Cup finalists Poole Link had the upper hand 4-2 against Tiegla Tiles thanks to Gareth Buck (2), Ricki Wilson, and Dave Sajic. Sam Cole and Andy Masson were the Tiegla scorers.
DIVISION THREE title contenders Queens Park warmed up for Thursday night's M.A.Hart In-Excess Cup Final showdown with Second Division Poole Link at Hurn Bridge (7:30 pm) with a 6-0 triumph over JS Bournemouth Sports. James Burgess (2), Steve Haime (2), Steve Flynn, and Andy Green were the Queens Park marksmen and they are now in second place, a point behind new leaders Tradeprice UK.
Bradley Asagba bagged a hat-trick when Tradeprice UK hammered Ferndown Locomotive 7-1 with Matt Wells (2), John Bates, and Kenneth Strong also on target.
Luke Daniel and Danny Nash netted for former leaders Eurasat Lions but their miserable run continued when Harbourside walloped them 7-2 with a Tim Porter hat-trick and two apiece from Chris Squire and Karl Long.
Paul Leabourne and Simon Adair struck for Joscelyne Builders but they too have fallen upon hard times of late and they went down 4-2 to goals from Rob Scadding (2), Lee Bellows, and Steve Lucas against AFC Burns Lettings.
Rossmore Athletic nip past Res Athletic into fifth place in the table after shading it 4-3 with goals from Marc Jackson (2), Josh Northam, and Martin Sherwood. Mark Pudney, John Taylor, and Lee Divine were the Rec scorers.
Lee O'Connell struck twice for Rias but DIVISION FOUR champions Shoulder of Mutton maintained their hundred per cent record when Jamie Moores (2) and Luke Whittaker gave them the verdict 3-2.
Tudor Rose ambushed Three Cross 6-0 with goals Nathan Welch (2), Mark Desborough, Ryan Moir, Matt Huckle, and Jack Smith while Boscombe Celtic forced a 2-2 draw at Witchampton thanks to Matt Murray and an own goal. Liam Cullen and Paul Allen were the Witchampton marksmen.
Terry Larcombe netted for Lovett but their DIVISION FIVE title hopes were dealt a devastating blow when Vienna Windows Reserves completed their campaign by upending them 2-1 with goals from Ross Singleton and Wayne Gavin.
Leaders Queens Park Rovers Reserves need four points from their three remaining games to take the title after Richie Collins and Robbie Harber gave them a 2-1 success against Carling Sports who replied through Ben Collie.
